Pole Amour & Aerial Silks
Pole Amour began in 2014, it started with one class a week & evolved quickly. Amy Mead who founded the group qualified under the incredible Sarah Scott & Karen Chaundry master trainers for X-Pole. The worlds leading syllabus provider.
At Pole Amour we teach fitness & trick based pole. We work a little on flow & linking one invert to another. It is about fitness, strength & body empowerment. Learning & admiring what our bodies are capable of. In a supportive & safe space where you are encouraged to be yourself. We try to have a giggle in each class, we do this for fun, to keep fit in body & mind.
We offer one photoshoot a year with the amazing Simon from ‘The Image Cella’. We pick our moves and spend a few months focusing on that. We are a fun based class, we don’t take things too serious. We pole for ourselves, yet support & celebrate each others achievements. Some incredible friendships have been formed & awesome ‘polegression’ has happened from a ‘hobby’. Most of my clients say this is there therapy!
Pole Amour Pole Pathway:
We offer beginners courses:

You need to have competed these courses before you can move on to the pole membership & then you can attend photoshoots, have flexibility over what class you attend.
If you have poled before and feel you do not need to start with the basics, please email feetbeats@hotmail.co.uk to discuss where you were with pole & where you can slot in.
Once you have graduated for beginners you move to a rolling membership. Payable monthly. You get many benefits with this.
To create a membership please click here: Pole Amour Memberships
We have a maximum of 12 to a class (2 to a pole) so everyone has ample time on a pole, smaller classes than the beginners courses.
Pole classes last 1 hour. We start with a general warm up & limber followed by a targeted stretch through the shoulders and back. After that we do some strength moves on the pole followed by some spin strength moves then we work on the moves, combo’s etc.
You are invited to take part in Photoshoots
You have the flexibility to change what class you attend (works well if you work shifts)
